Rooftop & room views · Al Haram, Giza
Hostalio Pyramid View is a family-run boutique hotel in Al Haram, Giza, built for one simple reason: every guest sees the Pyramids. Our rooftop terrace looks straight at the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Grand Egyptian Museum, and our pyramid-facing rooms — including the family suite with a private balcony — put the view a bed-length away.

Hostalio Pyramid View sits on Ibrahim Khattab Street in Al Haram, the neighbourhood at the foot of the Giza plateau. The rooftop is our signature room: an open-air terrace with tables, cushions and a direct line of sight to the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Grand Egyptian Museum. Every guest — private room, family suite or dormitory bed — has full rooftop access from dawn until late evening, so a pyramid view is guaranteed with any booking.
Several rooms face the pyramid side of the building and see the plateau straight from the window:

Homemade Egyptian breakfast is served on the rooftop daily — ful, ta'ameya, fresh bread, halloumi, fruit and mint tea, with the pyramids in front of you. In the evening, guests come up for the nightly Sound & Light Show at the plateau, which you can watch for free from our terrace with a mint tea in hand.
Photographer's tip
For the classic pink-sky pyramid photo, be on the roof 30 minutes before sunset. For a silhouette shot with almost no other tourists in frame, book the Family Suite and shoot from the balcony at sunrise.

Yes. Our rooftop terrace has a direct, unobstructed view of the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Grand Egyptian Museum. Several of our rooms — including the Family Suite, the Double Room and select twins — also face the pyramid side and offer a pyramid view straight from the window or private balcony.
The Family Suite with private balcony gives the widest, framed pyramid view — best for sunrise photos. The pyramid-facing Double and Twin rooms give a strong daytime view from bed. Every guest, regardless of room, has full access to the rooftop, so a pyramid view is guaranteed with any booking.
Yes. The Pyramids of Giza are lit during the nightly Sound & Light Show (typically 19:00 – 20:30 depending on season and language). You can watch the whole show from our rooftop for free — many guests bring a mint tea up and skip the paid seating.
About 1.8 km from the Pyramids entrance — a short 5-minute drive or a 20-minute walk down Al Haram Street. We're also just 500 m from the Grand Egyptian Museum, so you can walk to the GEM and drive to the plateau on the same day.
No supplements or hidden fees. The pyramid-view rooms are priced the same as our standard rooms of the same category — booked direct on WhatsApp you get the live rate with no booking-platform commission.
Golden hour — roughly 30 minutes before sunset — gives the warmest light on the limestone. Sunrise (best from the Family Suite balcony) gives you the pyramids in silhouette against a pink sky, usually with far fewer haze issues than midday.
Yes. Our homemade Egyptian breakfast — ful, ta'ameya, fresh bread, halloumi, seasonal fruit and Egyptian mint tea — is served daily on the rooftop with the pyramids in front of you. It's included with every room booked direct.
