• Reservation & guest details — full name, nationality, passport or national ID number (as required by Egyptian tourism law), date of birth, arrival and departure dates, number of guests, room preferences and any special requests.
• Travel Service details — when you ask us to plan a trip in Egypt, we also collect the information required to make those bookings on your behalf: travel dates, destinations, flight or train routes, cruise or tour preferences, number and ages of travellers, passport details required by airlines / cruise lines / hotels, and any dietary, mobility or accessibility needs you share with us.
• Contact details — email address, phone number, WhatsApp number and postal address used to confirm your booking or reply to your enquiry.
• Communication content — messages you send us via WhatsApp, email, the contact form or social media.
• Website usage data — IP address, approximate location (city / country), browser type, device type, pages visited, referring website and time spent, collected through cookies and analytics tools.

Payments. When you pay online for a room or a travel service on this website, the transaction is processed by our authorised payment provider Paymob Egypt (cards and mobile wallets). Card and wallet details are entered on Paymob's PCI-DSS compliant page — they are never stored on, or transmitted through, our own servers. You can also choose to pay at the hotel reception on arrival, or settle third-party bookings (for example Booking.com) directly with that platform under its own terms.

• To plan, book and manage the travel services you request across Egypt — including sharing the strictly necessary details with hotels, cruise operators, airlines, train and ticket providers, transport companies and licensed local guides.
• To reply to enquiries and provide 24-hour reception support before and during your stay.
• To comply with Egyptian tourism police and tax record-keeping obligations.
• To improve the content, security and performance of our website.
• To measure the effectiveness of our marketing and, with your consent, show relevant ads.

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to make the site work, remember your language preference and understand how visitors use it. We use services provided by Google, including:

• Google Analytics — to collect aggregated, mostly anonymous data about visitor traffic and behaviour so we can improve the site.
• Google Ads & remarketing — to measure ad performance and, where permitted, show you Hostalio Pyramid View ads on other websites you visit.
• Google Translate — to display our content in your preferred language.
• Google Maps & Fonts — to show our location and render typography.

These services may set their own cookies and receive data such as your IP address and pages viewed. Their use of that data is governed by Google's own privacy policy, available at policies.google.com/privacy. We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted parties who help us operate the hotel and the website, including:

• Online travel agencies (e.g. Booking.com) through which you made a reservation.
• Third-party suppliers used to fulfil a Travel Service booking you have requested — hotels, Nile cruise operators, airlines, train and attraction ticket providers, car and transfer companies, and licensed tour guides. Only the details needed to complete that specific booking are shared.
• Our payment processor Paymob Egypt, which handles card and mobile-wallet transactions on our behalf.
• Hosting, email, analytics, advertising and translation providers listed above.
• Egyptian tourism police and tax authorities where required by law.

Reservation, travel-service and guest-register records are kept for the period required by Egyptian law (currently a minimum of five years for accounting and tourism records). Payment records held by Paymob are retained according to their own regulated timelines. Marketing and website analytics data is retained for up to 26 months and then aggregated or deleted.

Our website is served over HTTPS. Access to guest records at the hotel is limited to authorised staff on a need-to-know basis. While no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, we apply appropriate technical and organisational safeguards to protect your information.

You may ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, to restrict or object to certain processing, or to withdraw consent for marketing at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Our website is not directed at children under 16. Reservations for children are made by their parent or guardian, who is responsible for the information provided.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
