Restaurant Policy

Every bill at Grand View Cafe & Restaurant must be paid on the spot, at the restaurant. Restaurant charges cannot be carried, transferred or merged with your hotel or dormitory bill under any circumstances.

• Bills are settled table-by-table before you leave the rooftop — with cash or card, directly with the restaurant cashier.
• Room numbers, dorm bunk numbers and booking references cannot be used to charge food or drinks to your stay.
• This keeps the restaurant and the hotel accounts fully separate, which protects both you and our team.
• A digital or printed receipt is provided for every order — please check it before paying.

• Guests on a room rate that includes breakfast receive the set breakfast menu of the day at no extra charge.
• Anything outside the set breakfast items — extra eggs, specialty coffees, fresh juices, add-on sides, à la carte dishes — is charged at standard menu prices and paid on the spot.
• Set breakfast is served during posted breakfast hours; outside those hours the full à la carte menu applies.
• Please show your room key or bunk card so the team can confirm your set-breakfast entitlement.

• Grand View Rooftop is open 24 hours, 7 days a week — sunrise coffee, all-day dining and late-night bites.
• A late-night limited menu applies between midnight and sunrise.
• The kitchen may close briefly for cleaning; drinks and cold items remain available.
• All prices are quoted in Egyptian pounds (EGP) and include applicable taxes; a service charge, when added, appears clearly on the bill.

• Walk-ins are always welcome. For sunset, dinner and large groups we recommend booking ahead on WhatsApp.
• Reserved tables are held for 15 minutes past the booking time before being released.
• Front-row Pyramid-view tables are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Groups of 6 or more may be seated at a shared long table depending on availability.

• Please do not bring outside food or drinks to the restaurant.
• Shisha is served on the rooftop only and must be ordered from the restaurant.
• Alcohol is served responsibly on the rooftop; ID may be requested.
• No smoking or vaping at indoor tables — the open rooftop terrace has a designated area.

• Smart casual dress is appreciated at dinner. Swimwear and bare feet are not permitted.
• Please keep voices, music and phone calls at a considerate level, especially after 10 PM.
• Children are always welcome and must be supervised on the rooftop terrace at all times.
• Guests behaving disrespectfully to staff or other diners will be asked to leave.

• Please tell your server about any food allergy or intolerance before ordering.
• Our kitchen handles gluten, nuts, dairy and shellfish; traces cannot be fully excluded.
• Any concern about a dish or the bill should be raised with the manager on shift immediately — we will always try to make it right.
• Tips are appreciated but never required; a service charge, when applicable, is shown clearly on the bill.

• Pets and service animals are not allowed in the restaurant or anywhere on the property.
